The upcoming Maruti Victoris SUV is poised to launch with a suite of advanced features. This vehicle is envisioned as Maruti’s new flagship SUV, specifically designed to appeal to younger drivers and families. Notably, the Victoris will be the first Maruti model to incorporate ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System) technology, enhancing driving safety through features like automatic braking, lane keeping assist, and collision avoidance.
Beyond safety, the Victoris will offer an immersive audio experience with a Dolby Atmos sound system. Furthermore, the car has been awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP, positioning it as one of the safest Maruti vehicles to date. The engine options will include petrol, petrol-hybrid, and CNG variants.
**Booking Details and Launch Timeline**
While the official launch date has not been announced, the Maruti Victoris SUV is expected to arrive in showrooms before Diwali. The manufacturer may launch the SUV around Navratri (September 22nd to October 2nd) to capitalize on the festive season. Bookings for the SUV have commenced, requiring a token amount of ₹11,000.
**Maruti Victoris SUV Variants**
The car will be available in six trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The entry-level variant boasts features like a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4.2-inch driver display, black-ivory interior upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistant, a Type A front USB charger, push-button start/stop, a smart key, a pollen air filter, auto AC, rear AC vents, six airbags, ABS with brake assist, an electric stability program, hill hold assist, a tire repair kit, Isofix child seat anchors, and three-point seatbelts for all passengers.
With an estimated price of approximately ₹10 lakh, the base variant presents a budget-friendly option, though it may lack some premium features.
**Safety Features**
The higher-spec ZXI+ trim offers Level-2 ADAS, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, four speakers, a head-up display, two Type-C front USB chargers, terrain mode (AWD), and machine-cut 17-inch alloy wheels. The ZXi+ (O) variant includes a panoramic sunroof. These fully-loaded variants will command higher prices, with an estimated cost of around ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end ZXI+ and ZXI+ (O) variants would be ideal choices for those with a sufficient budget.
**Value-for-Money Variant**
The most value-for-money variant will be determined upon the official price announcement. However, the Maruti Victoris ZXI is already a strong contender, offering a compelling package of features and value, including a larger 10.25-inch driver display, black-ivory interior upholstery, an automatic IRVM, blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, DRLs, and fog lamps, along with all the features found in the lower trims.
