The Maruti Ertiga, a popular choice for families, has been updated by Maruti Suzuki in the Indian market. The carmaker has enhanced this MPV with new features and minor cosmetic changes to make it even more powerful. The brand has repositioned the second-row AC vents. They are now located behind the center console, a common placement in most cars. This change may be seen as a slight downgrade, helping the brand save on costs and time, as center console-mounted AC vents were already available in other brand products. The car’s price starts from ₹9.11 lakh.
Regarding cosmetic changes, the brand has redesigned the rear spoiler. The new spoiler features protruding units on both sides, enhancing the MPV’s look. Besides, there are no other cosmetic changes in the 2025 Ertiga.
Speaking of the third row, occupants now have their separate vents along with blower controls. Lastly, the brand has also added USB Type C ports, two for the second row and two for the third row. The new Ertiga is now 40mm longer, with a total length reaching 4,435mm. It features a new roof-mounted rear spoiler, which not only gives it a modern look but also enhances the car’s road presence. Additionally, there are updated tail lamps, a new tailgate, and rear quarter panels. However, the front grille and lighting setup remain unchanged.
The biggest change in the interior concerns safety features. All variants now come standard with 6 airbags. Also, all seats get 3-point seat belts, whereas the old model had a lap belt only for the middle seat of the second row. The engine options remain the same: the 1.5-liter K15C smart hybrid petrol and CNG versions. The petrol model offers a mileage of up to 20.51 Km/L, while the CNG model offers fuel efficiency of around 26.11 Km/Kg.
