The Maruti Ertiga, a best-selling family car (MPV) in India, is expected to see dimensional changes soon. According to reports, the overall length of this MPV will increase from 4.39 meters to 4.43 meters. While the wheelbase will remain at 2.74 meters, the boot space will also increase. However, since the Ertiga Tour M fleet variant already comes with larger dimensions, the vehicle manufacturer may further increase its dimensions.
**Maruti Ertiga Price and Safety Features:**
The 2025 Maruti Ertiga will come with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as a standard safety fitting, along with slight changes to the AC vents for the second row of seats. Recently, this MPV lineup has also been updated with six airbags, which has led to a slight increase in its price. Currently, the Ertiga comes in 9 variants, priced between ₹9.11 lakh to ₹13.40 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
**Maruti Ertiga Engine:**
The updated Maruti Ertiga may use the existing 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine, which generates a maximum of 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque. The CNG variant delivers 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes standard, while some petrol variants also get a 6-speed automatic transmission.
**New Model to Launch on September 3, 2025:**
Among other updates, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a new Arena-exclusive mid-size SUV to compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. This new model, positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara, will be available for sale on September 3, 2025.
