Upcoming leaks suggest that the Nothing Phone 3, slated for a July 1st launch, might be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Earlier rumors pointed towards the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The 8s Gen 4 features a CPU with a Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8 GHz, and two Cortex-A720 cores at 2 GHz. This configuration is expected to provide improved performance compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. However, without Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU cores, it may not match the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The new processor will also incorporate an Adreno GPU featuring a new sliced architecture and an enhanced NPU, which is 44% faster than its predecessor. Additionally, the device could include Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi, and XPAN, potentially enhancing audio experiences. If the phone indeed uses the 8s Gen 4, features like 8K video recording, 4K/120FPS slow-motion capture, and mmWave 5G might be absent. Official details remain unconfirmed at this time.
