Over the past few years, the company has expanded its range to maintain its speed. With the earlier easier 2WD variant and recently with the launch of the 5-door Thar Rocks, both the vehicles have made a place in the hearts of the buyers.

Despite the high demand, there has been no shortage in the popularity of Thar. Mahindra is now focusing on giving a new look to its 3-door model. Almost 5 years after the launch of the second generation variant, work is going on its mid-cycle update and its hidden test mules have been seen many times during testing.
Testing of Updated XUV700 is ongoing
The facelifted Thar is expected to launch in less than a few weeks. Recently, the company has introduced four new concepts with the next-gen platform. Apart from this, Mahindra is continuing the testing of the updated XUV700, which is to be launched in early 2026.
3-Door Thar Facelift
Spy photos of the 3-door Thar facelift show that the front bumper of the SUV has been completely redesigned. Which gives it an even more powerful look, while sharp detailing has now been given in the fog lamp housing. Minor changes have also been made to the familiar grille and Mahindra is expected to introduce C-shape LED lighting signature to make its look even more शानदार.
3-Door Thar Facelift Engine
With the new design front fascia, the updated Thar will also have new style alloy wheels which will differentiate it from the existing model. However, Mahindra will not make any changes in its base because this SUV will retain its ladder-frame design and engine options. Which will include 1.5-liter diesel, 2.0-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter diesel powertrains without any changes.

Talking about the interior, the facelifted Thar will see a major upgrade, which will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the middle of the dashboard. The area around the gear lever is also being worked on, which may include a setup of wireless charging pads.
