Ola, one of the leading electric scooter sellers in the Indian market, has released a teaser on its social media platforms hinting at upcoming electric scooters. These new products will be unveiled at the company’s annual event, Sankalp 2025. This special event will be held at Ola’s Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. In addition to showcasing new scooters, the company will also present its upcoming products and technology roadmap. Moreover, the company will launch a new MoveOS 6 software for its electric two-wheelers.
The teaser video provides a glimpse of two distinct scooter designs, with one sporting a sporty appearance while the other seems more family-friendly. The sporty scooter features sharp lines, raised edges, and a stylish seat. It also has angled pillion grab handles at the rear, enhancing its dynamic, sporty look. The scooter includes a small front beak and a single-piece grab handle.
The teaser also reveals a noteworthy detail: a small camera is positioned on the scooter’s front. This suggests that future Ola e-scooters may incorporate smart features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to enhance safety and the riding experience.
Ola Electric has announced the launch of MoveOS 6. Following the introduction of MoveOS 5 last year, which incorporated several safety features, MoveOS 6 will particularly focus on AI integration. It may include an AI chatbot and a voice assistant, enabling users to interact with their scooters, access information, control features, and manage trips and navigation easily.
Perhaps the biggest surprise at Sankalp 2025 could be the Ola Diamondhead electric motorcycle, part of the company’s Moonshot project and designed with a futuristic aesthetic. Its front section features a dome shape with a long LED strip, reminiscent of the Cybertruck’s style.
