Ola Electric has launched the S1 Pro Sport, the sportiest version of its S1 electric scooter. This electric scooter has a starting price of ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with an improved design compared to the existing model. Additionally, the company that manufactures electric two-wheelers has introduced a new 4680-type battery in it.

The design of the Ola S1 Pro Sport has undergone significant changes compared to its standard version. This electric two-wheeler features a newly designed apron with the brand’s logo in the middle, placed just above the camera, which will be used for ADAS features like collision detection. To support this feature, the scooter is equipped with MoveOS 6.

Furthermore, the scooter has a newly designed seat and carbon fiber front fender. It also includes a new carbon fiber grab handle and a new aero windshield. The new electric scooter has 14-inch wheels. The new Ola S1 Pro Sport has an indigenous ferrite electric motor that generates a maximum power output of 16 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 71 Nm. Designed and developed in the country, this motor reduces dependence on important rare earth elements for its magnets.

This scooter is equipped with a 5.2 kWh battery pack using new 4680 cells, which, combined with the updated motor, offers a maximum speed of 152 kmph, covers a speed of 0 to 40 kmph in just 2 seconds, and claims an IDC range of 320 km.

This scooter also features several advanced features along with the ADAS package. It includes features like collision avoidance warning, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and overspeeding alert. The interface of this scooter has also been upgraded, with support for the latest features like voice assistant, custom display themes, personal ride analytics, predictive maintenance alerts, and smart charging.
