Royal Enfield has introduced a new color variant for its Guerrilla 450 motorcycle, catering to a growing demand among enthusiasts. The new model features a Shadow Ash paint scheme and comes with an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.49 lakh. It incorporates an olive-green fuel tank with blacked-out detailing and is equipped with Royal Enfield’s Tripper Dash console. The Guerrilla 450 is powered by the Sherpa 450 engine, also found in the Himalayan 450. This 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generates 39.52 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. It’s paired with a 6-speed transmission, including a slip-and-assist clutch. Royal Enfield has implemented distinct engine mapping for the Guerrilla 450, and the motorcycle features a smooth gearbox and a light clutch.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 boasts a fully digital instrument cluster similar to the Himalayan 450, including Google Maps integration. Lower variants feature an analog instrument cluster with a digital display and a Tripper pod, akin to those in the Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650 models. It also includes a USB port for mobile charging and hazard lights. The bike offers two riding modes, ride-by-wire technology, and LED lighting. Braking is handled by a tubular frame with the engine acting as a stressed member, 43mm telescopic forks at the front, and a monoshock at the rear. The front wheel has 140mm travel, and the rear wheel has 150mm travel. Braking duties are managed by a 310mm disc at the front and a 270mm disc at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 120/70 and 160/60 tires.
