Skoda Auto India experienced a stellar performance in the third quarter of 2025 (July-September), achieving a remarkable 110 percent year-over-year growth. This surge underscores Skoda’s strengthening position in the Indian market. September 2025 was particularly significant, with Skoda selling 6,636 cars, more than double the sales figures from September of the previous year. The success is largely attributed to the new Kylaq SUV, which has captured customer attention since its launch. The demand for Kylaq has been so high that it has become the company’s top-selling car. Moreover, models such as Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq have also significantly contributed to stable sales figures. Skoda’s growing success in the competitive Indian market indicates its strategic direction. Premium features, strong performance, and reliable quality have rapidly increased Skoda’s popularity among customers. The company anticipates sustained growth in the coming months. Skoda Auto India’s robust growth in 2025 is based on its product offerings. The brand’s first sub-4 meter SUV, Kylaq, has already surpassed sales of 34,500 units, playing a vital role in achieving the company’s target of 53,355 units between January and September 2025. The Skoda Kylaq is equipped with a 999cc 1-liter turbo-petrol engine, generating 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. It is available with 6-speed manual and automatic (DC/TC) transmission options. The car offers features such as 6 airbags, parking sensors, a cooled glovebox, and cruise control, while the boot space is 446 liters and the ground clearance is 189 mm.
