A SpiceJet flight passenger experienced an unfortunate situation on a Mumbai to Bengaluru flight, spending the entire journey trapped inside the lavatory. The airline has since apologized and reportedly offered compensation. The incident, which occurred on Monday night, involved a malfunctioning door lock that trapped the passenger mid-flight. After the flight took off from Mumbai, delayed by two hours, the passenger was unable to open the restroom door. The crew attempted to assist, but the door remained jammed. To comfort the passenger, the crew slipped a handwritten note under the door, advising him to remain seated until the plane landed in Bengaluru. The incident quickly went viral on social media, with many users finding the note humorous and commenting on the handwriting. The flight eventually landed in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM, where ground staff were able to open the door. The airline has expressed regret and offered an apology for the inconvenience.
