A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru experienced an unusual situation when a passenger became stuck inside the lavatory during the flight. The incident, which occurred on Monday night, saw the passenger trapped mid-air due to a malfunctioning door lock. The crew attempted to resolve the issue but were unsuccessful. As a result, they slipped a handwritten note under the door, advising the passenger to remain calm and stay seated on the toilet until the plane landed in Bengaluru. The flight, which was delayed by two hours, eventually arrived in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM. Upon landing, ground staff and engineers were able to open the locked door. The airline has since apologized to the passenger and reportedly offered a refund.
