A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru experienced an unusual incident when a passenger became stuck inside the lavatory for the duration of the flight. The airline has issued an apology and reportedly offered compensation to the affected passenger. The incident has generated significant attention and amusement.

The passenger was eventually freed after the flight landed in Bengaluru. Ground staff and engineers promptly responded and opened the malfunctioning toilet door. The incident occurred on a flight that departed Mumbai late, approximately two hours behind schedule, at 2:10 AM.

The passenger, seated in seat 14D, entered the restroom shortly after takeoff and found themselves unable to exit due to a jammed door lock. The crew attempted to assist but were unsuccessful. To provide comfort, the crew passed a handwritten note to the passenger through the door, asking them to remain seated until the plane landed. The note and the situation have garnered considerable attention on social media.

The flight landed in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM. Airport engineers then opened the door. The airline has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the passenger.
