These bikes present compelling alternatives, especially for those considering the KTM RC390. The Kawasaki Ninja 300, Kawasaki’s entry-level sports bike, has seen considerable price reductions. It is now available for Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom). The Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc engine, generating 38.88 bhp at 11,000 rpm. Yamaha has also reduced the price of its beginner-friendly sports bike, the R3. It is now priced at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom). For individuals considering the KTM RC 390, the Yamaha R3 may prove to be a worthy alternative. The R3 is equipped with a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC valve engine, capable of producing 42.0 ps of peak power at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 29.5 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Furthermore, TVS’s flagship naked streetfighter, the Apache RTR 310, has become more affordable, starting at Rs 2.21 lakh. The RTR 310 is driven by a 312.12 cc engine that delivers 35.08 hp at 9,700 rpm and a maximum torque of 28.7 Nm at 6,650 rpm.
