Tata Motors showcased the updated version of its SUV, the Tata Sierra, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. In the meantime, this SUV has been spotted during testing in the country multiple times. Recent photos suggest that the launch of the Tata Sierra ICE (i.e., petrol/diesel engine) is not far off.
The latest images show the testing model completely camouflaged to conceal the design. However, the design was already revealed at the expo, and it is believed that the production model will be almost the same. These photos show the SUV being refueled at a petrol pump. Based on the photos and the model shown at the expo, the Tata Sierra ICE is expected to offer:
* Full LED light setup
* Full-width light bars at the front and rear
* Black ORVMs (side mirrors)
* C-pillar design
* Flush-fitting door handles
Features such as a shark fin antenna, and more.
According to previous spy shots, the Tata Sierra ICE will get a three-screen setup: a digital driver display, a large infotainment touchscreen in the middle, and a third screen for the front passenger. All three screens are said to be approximately 12.3 inches and will have a floating design. The interior cabin will provide a more premium feel, including a dual-tone theme, soft-touch materials, and ambient lighting all around.
Tata Sierra Engine Options
This new SUV from Tata could have three engine options, including a 2.0-liter diesel engine (from the Tata Harrier), a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. In addition, the company has also made it clear that the electric version (EV) of the Tata Sierra will also be launched soon.
