Following this, a new showroom was launched on August 11 in Delhi’s Aerocity. The company’s current focus is on the premium electric car segment, and deliveries will be prioritized in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, and Gurugram in the initial phase.
In the Indian market, the Tesla Model Y will be imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). The starting price is set at ₹59.89 lakh. The long-range variant starts from this price. The company has started bookings on its official website across the country.
Tesla Model Y comes with two different battery options:
* 60 kWh battery: Provides a range of approximately 500 km (WLTP certified) on a single charge.
* 75 kWh battery (Long Range variant): Provides a range of approximately 622 km.
The car also includes an autonomous driving feature, but customers will have to pay an additional ₹6 lakh. The Tesla Model Y offers a fantastic combination of premium features, safety technology, and all-electric performance.
