Ola Electric claims to have surpassed the milestone of producing 1 million electric two-wheelers in 4 years. After commencing production in 2021, Ola Electric achieved this feat in less than four years at its Future Factory located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The company asserts it is the first to reach this landmark. To commemorate this occasion, a special edition Ola Roadster X+ was launched as the 1 millionth model.
Ola Electric initiated its operations in 2021 with the S1 electric scooter range, which formed the foundation of the brand’s success. This year, the company expanded its lineup by introducing the Roadster electric motorcycle range, starting with the Roadster X+. However, the brand has also faced several controversies, including concerns about reliability, fire incidents, and poor service. According to VAHAN data, Ola Electric was the second-largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, behind TVS, in August 2025.
