Toyota is set to reduce prices for its vehicles by up to ₹3.49 lakh following Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms. The new rates are scheduled to come into effect from September 22, 2025. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that it will be passing on the benefits of the GST rate cuts to its customers. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales, Service, Used Car Business, and Profit Promotion at TKM, stated the company’s commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction in delivering these benefits. The price reductions will vary across different models. For instance, the Glanza hatchback will see a price reduction of up to ₹85,300, while the Fortuner’s price could decrease by as much as ₹3.49 lakh. Other models such as the Taisor, Rumion, Hyryder, Crysta, Hycross, Legender, Hilux, Camry, and Vellfire will also experience price drops. The Rumion will be cheaper by ₹48,700, Hyryder by ₹65,400, Crysta by ₹1.8 lakh, Hycross by ₹1.15 lakh, Legender by ₹3.34 lakh, Hilux by ₹2.52 lakh, Camry by ₹1.01 lakh, and Vellfire by ₹2.78 lakh.
