Toyota India has unveiled a teaser for the upcoming Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition on its social media platforms. The teaser showcases an all-black version of the compact SUV, slated for launch during the Toyota Drum Tao music festival in November. The Hyryder Aero Edition boasts an all-black exterior and interior. The Hyryder Aero Edition features a new black paint scheme and faux carbon fiber finish on the grille, along with other upgrades. The exact changes in styling remain unclear, but an ‘Aero Edition’ badge is expected on the tailgate. The cabin will likely retain its original design, complemented by new black upholstery. The Japanese automaker updated the Hyryder earlier this year, introducing several new features. The top-spec variant now includes an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, an AQI display, a new digital console, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Type-C USB charging ports, ambient lighting, rear door sunshades, and LED reading and spot lamps. The 2025 Hyryder also comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission option with an all-wheel drive (AWD) version. The AWD manual version has been discontinued. Moreover, all variants of this SUV come standard with 6 airbags, and all automatic variants come standard with an electronic parking brake. The new Hyryder Aero Edition is expected to be available with all three powertrain options. The SUV will come with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, as well as a 1.5-liter strong hybrid engine. A 1.5-liter CNG option is also available. Depending on the engine option, transmission options include manual and automatic. The price of the Hyryder has been significantly reduced under new GST revisions. The starting price of this SUV now begins at ₹10.95 lakh, going up to ₹19.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
