TVS Motor Company has launched a new scooter, the TVS NTORQ 150. It is India’s fastest hyper sport scooter, featuring a 149.7cc race-tuned engine and a design inspired by stealth aircraft. This scooter combines high performance, a sporty look, and advanced technology, specifically designed for the new generation of riders. The starting price is ₹1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, all India). The top TFT model is priced at ₹1.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
The TVS NTORQ 150 includes multi-point projector headlamps, aerodynamic winglets, colored alloy wheels, and a signature muffler sound. The high-resolution TFT cluster is equipped with 50+ smart features, including Alexa and smartwatch integration, live tracking, navigation, and OTA updates, making it the most advanced scooter in its segment.
Performance:
The TVS NTORQ 150 features a 149.7cc air-cooled O3CTech engine, delivering 13.2 PS of power at 7000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It accelerates from 0-60 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 104 km/h, making it the fastest scooter in its segment.
Sporty and Futuristic Design:
The scooter’s look is inspired by stealth aircraft. It has multi-point projector headlamps and sporty tail lamps. There are aerodynamic winglets and jet-inspired vents, a signature muffler sound, and naked handlebars. It features colored alloy wheels and sport-tuned suspension, a signature T tail lamp, and a gaming console-inspired TFT display. It is tech-packed for the new generation of riders. The high-resolution TFT cluster, equipped with TVS SmartXonnect, offers 50+ features, including Alexa and smartwatch integration, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle tracking, and last parked location. It also includes a call/message/social media alerts system, 2 ride modes, OTA updates, custom widgets, and a 4-way navigation switch.
Safety and Comfort:
For the first time in its segment, this scooter comes with ABS and traction control, along with a crash and theft alert system, hazard lamps, and emergency brake warning. Features include follow-me headlamps, telescopic suspension, and adjustable brake levers. It also has a patented E-Z center stand and 22 liters of under-seat storage. In the Indian market, the scooter will compete with models like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.
