TVS, a pioneer in bringing a sporty aesthetic to commuter scooters within the 125cc segment, is poised to expand its presence in the 150cc category. The brand, having established a strong foothold in the 125cc space, is aiming to replicate its success with a new model, as suggested by recent sightings of an NTORQ 150cc test vehicle. This upcoming scooter has now been officially teased ahead of its launch.
The teaser suggests the new Ntorq 150 will directly challenge established models like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SR175. The scooter is expected to feature a quad-projector LED headlight setup, while retaining design elements reminiscent of the current Ntorq. Rumors indicate the TVS Ntorq 150 will generate approximately 12 BHP of peak power and 13 N·m of torque, managed by a CVT gearbox. The teaser hints at enhanced acceleration thanks to the increased engine displacement. The exhaust note promises a deeper, bass-heavy sound. Expected features include disc brakes and a 5-inch TFT instrument screen, similar to the one found on the Raider 125.
