Automobile companies are gearing up to make a splash during the festive season, with several new electric vehicles expected to be launched. Major brands like Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, and VinFast are preparing to introduce new cars to capitalize on the growing demand for electric vehicles in the market. **VinFast VF 6 and VF 7**
According to a report from Gaadiwaadi, VinFast has begun assembling the VF6 and VF7 via the CKD route at its Tamil Nadu plant, ahead of the festive season. In terms of driving range, these cars can offer a range of more than 480 kilometers on a single charge. The company has started taking bookings for these models, and both SUVs will be equipped with numerous features and technology.
**Maruti Suzuki e Vitara**
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is expected to be launched soon, with production for the domestic and global markets taking place at the Gujarat plant. The launch of this car is expected in the early months of 2026. This mid-size electric SUV will be available in Delta, Zeta, and Alpha options. The SUV may be launched with 61.1 kWh and 48.8 kWh battery options, and it can offer a range of more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.
**Mahindra XEV 7e and XUV 3XO EV**
Mahindra is preparing to launch its first three-row electric SUV, the XEV 7e, which is based on the XUV.e8 concept. It will feature the triple screen, panoramic sunroof, and ADAS features found in the XUV700, in addition to battery options for the XEV 9e and BE 6.
In addition, continuous testing of the XUV 3XO EV is also underway, and if launched, it could be positioned below the XUV400. Both the XEV 7e and XUV 3XO EV could be launched in the first half of 2026.
