With increased sales observed after the recent GST update and the approaching Diwali season, several automotive manufacturers are preparing to launch new vehicles in India. Two prominent models are the Tata Punch facelift and the new generation Hyundai Venue, with Tata also planning petrol variants of the Harrier and Safari. The Tata Punch facelift, spotted in test runs, is anticipated to launch in November and will feature updated bumpers, new interior features, a larger infotainment screen, and a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel. It’s expected to retain its 1.2-liter petrol engine, as well as the CNG variant’s current setup. The new Hyundai Venue, undergoing testing, is expected to take design cues from the Hyundai Alcazar and Creta, with interior upgrades, and will offer the same engine options as before. In addition, Tata Motors is set to introduce petrol versions of the Harrier and Safari by the end of 2025, powered by a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine.
