The VLF Mobster 135 scooter has recently launched in the Indian market. Within three days of its release, the scooter has garnered over a thousand bookings, averaging approximately 21 bookings per hour. This data underscores the growing enthusiasm among young people and scooter enthusiasts. The scooter is initially priced at ₹1.30 lakh, applicable for the first 2,500 customers. Subsequently, the price will increase to ₹1.38 lakh, leaving around 1,500 units for customers to benefit from the introductory offer. The VLF Mobster 135, designed by Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini, blends adventure bike (ADV) and streetfighter motorcycle elements. It features twin projector headlamps, sharp panels, and a full LED setup, providing a premium aesthetic. Assembled locally at a plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, the Mobster comes in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits. It is designed with youth in mind and offers sporty color options. Key features include a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, auto start/stop, illuminated switchgear, and an all-LED lighting system. Notably, it is the first 125cc scooter in its category to offer switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control, often found in high-end bikes. The scooter is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 12 bhp of power and 11.7 Nm of torque, positioning it among the most powerful scooters in its segment. With telescopic forks at the front and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, it ensures stability and a smooth ride on various terrains. The VLF Mobster 135, a blend of power, design, and advanced features, has the potential to redefine the scooter segment in India. Its initial pricing and booking response suggest a promising future in the Indian market.
