Amazon Data Center Inauguration Highlights Telangana’s Growth Drive

The laying of the foundation stone for Amazon’s data centre in Hyderabad’s Future City was presented as a symbol of Telangana’s ambition to become a high‑tech hub. The chief minister emphasized that the project is part of a broader strategy to develop the region into a global‑standard city capable of hosting multinational corporations.

The state recently hosted the Telangana Rising Global Summit, attracting close to 3,000 corporate delegates from 108 countries. Participants were briefed on sector‑specific policies covering industry, tourism, energy, health and sports, all designed to position Telangana as a development model for India.

In parallel, the Young India Skill University was launched to equip the local workforce with industry‑relevant skills, thereby supporting the state’s employment goals.
