Astrotalk Reports ₹222 Crore Profit as Overseas Revenue Surges

New Delhi: Astrotalk has recorded a net profit of ₹222 crore in FY 2025-26, a more than tenfold increase from ₹22 crore in the previous fiscal year. The growth was supported by strong performance in its consultation business, a sharp rise in international revenue, and expansion of its e-commerce operations.

The Noida-based company's operating revenue grew 55 percent to ₹1,823 crore in FY26, up from ₹1,176 crore in FY25, crossing the ₹1,800 crore mark.

The company's platform connects users with astrologers for paid chat, call, and video consultations. This segment remains dominant. Revenue from consultations rose 45 percent to ₹1,657 crore, compared with ₹1,139 crore a year earlier, and accounts for about 91 percent of total operating income.

Overseas expansion has become a significant contributor. International revenue more than doubled, rising 2.6 times to ₹621 crore from ₹236 crore in the previous year. The share of international business in total income climbed from 20 percent to 34 percent. Overseas markets also contributed more than half of the overall increase in revenue during the year.

Domestic revenue grew 28 percent to ₹1,202 crore.

The Astrotalk Store, the company's e-commerce arm, offers certified rudraksha, gemstones, crystals, and vastu-related products. These are sold through Astrotalk's platform and online marketplaces. The store's revenue increased 4.4 times to ₹166 crore in FY26 from ₹37 crore in FY25.

Puneet Gupta, founder and Chief Executive Officer, said the company had worked to build a diversified global business rooted in India.

“We aimed to build a diversified global business from India, and our FY26 results show that this strategy is working. Over one-third of our revenue now comes from outside India, and the Astrotalk Store has become our second major business,” Gupta said.

Alongside its growth, the company's costs also rose. Advertising and marketing expenses more than doubled to ₹823 crore from ₹337 crore as it expanded customer acquisition efforts. These costs made up more than half of total expenses.

Legal and professional service expenses increased to ₹550 crore from ₹515 crore in the previous year. These expenses include payments made to astrologers for consultation services.
