CM Yogi Reviews Preparations for Major Trade Expo at India Expo Centre

On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the India Expo Centre & Mart to assess the readiness of UPITS‑2026. He emphasized the need for world‑class amenities for international buyers, investors, entrepreneurs and delegations attending the five‑day event.

The CM directed officials to secure adequate accommodation for foreign delegates, appoint liaison officers for each high commissioner, and mobilise student volunteers from local universities to assist participants. He also called for direct interaction between international delegations and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, alongside additional dialogue sessions with industry leaders.

Yogi stressed the importance of seamless traffic flow, parking, public transport, sanitation, safety, and reliable water and food supplies to manage the expected large crowds. He instructed coordinated efforts among municipal, police and transport authorities to maintain order and cleanliness throughout the venue.
