Delhi to serve as hub for Ahmedabad’s new international model

Officials highlighted that the hub‑and‑spoke arrangement is designed to boost connectivity for Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 cities, reduce overall travel time and increase the share of international passenger traffic within India's aviation network. By routing more flights through Delhi, the existing infrastructure at larger airports can be utilized more efficiently, reinforcing Delhi's role as the country's primary international gateway.
