Foreign and domestic investors pour billions into Indian market

Foreign portfolio investors (FPI) injected Rs 243.03 crore into Indian equities on Monday, reversing their earlier sell‑off. Domestic institutional investors (DII) were even more aggressive, buying Rs 3,791.42 crore of equity shares. Market analysts note that the earlier pressure from rising crude oil prices and FPI outflows has eased. Crude oil has retreated to pre‑conflict levels and FPIs have turned into buyers, providing a fresh source of support for the market.
