Government Pushes Hybrid Silkworms and AI to Boost Farmers' Income

The ministry announced that by improving mulberry leaf output and increasing the number of cocoon cycles, farmer earnings could rise to between 10 and 12 lakh rupees annually. Emphasis was placed on delivering scientific innovations—such as hybrid silkworm breeds, advanced machinery, and AI‑driven monitoring tools—directly to silk growers across the country.
