Haryana Bhawan, Online Portal Planned for Gujarat Haryanvis

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday described his two-day Gujarat trip as a step toward broader partnership, not merely a search for investment. He said the visit emphasised mutual cooperation, connectivity and stronger bonds between the two states.

The Chief Minister met Haryanvi families and community members in Surat and Ahmedabad. He briefed them on the state's achievements and took note of their concerns and expectations.

Saini said the state government remains firmly committed to protecting the rights and interests of Haryanvis living outside Haryana. He also pledged to widen the facilities available for their welfare.

In Surat, the Chief Minister announced that the government will set up a dedicated online portal to handle complaints from Haryanvis outside the state. The portal will allow residents to register grievances and will aim to resolve them within a fixed period.

The initiative is expected to strengthen the link between Haryanvis outside the state and the state government, while making it easier to access redressal.

Another key step is the planned 'Haryana Bhawan' in Gujarat. It will follow the model of the facility in Maharashtra, and work on this front has already begun.

The proposed bhawan will function as a centre for cultural, social and administrative activities of the Haryanvi community. It will also serve as a bridge that connects the cultures of Haryana and Gujarat.

The Chief Minister stressed that cooperation between the two states will not be restricted to investment and economic opportunities. He said it will also expand into social and cultural areas and strengthen relations between people.

He expressed confidence that the growing partnership with Gujarat, the birthplace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would give new momentum to Haryana's development journey and help take the state's growth story to greater heights.

Saini also met Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and discussed a range of issues. Special attention was given to strengthening coordination and cooperation between the two states.

The leaders also talked about sharing experiences and finding opportunities for collaboration in various areas of development.
