Karnataka's 79th Kalyaṇa Festival Calls for Community Engagement in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi, September 15 – On September 16‑17, Kalaburagi will host the 79th Kalyaṇa Karnataka Utsav, a two‑day celebration designed to highlight the state's rich heritage, arts and indigenous talent. Karnataka Home, IT‑BT and e‑Governance Minister Priyank Khadage urged citizens, families and especially school and college students to join the program in record numbers.

The minister described the event as a "people's festival" that will feature an array of cultural, musical and dance performances across the city. He appealed for active participation, noting that the success of the celebration hinges on public enthusiasm.

Day 1 (September 16) details: - 6:30 PM: Folk and cultural acts at Public Garden. - 8:00 PM: Street Festival inauguration by Chief Minister D.K.
