NBCC Q4 Results: Profit Climbs to ₹253.5 Cr

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Ltd has delivered a strong set of numbers for the fourth quarter of FY26, with net profit surging nearly 39 percent to ₹253.51 crore. The government-owned construction and project-management major released its earnings on Monday, showing that disciplined project execution helped offset a modest dip in top-line growth. Total income from operations came in at ₹4,559.79 crore, down 1.8 percent from ₹4,643.84 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year. Within this, the flagship project-management consultancy vertical grew 2 percent to ₹4,356.78 crore, while real-estate and engineering-procurement-construction segments witnessed revenue contraction. Quarter-on-quarter, however, the company posted a 28.5 percent increase in profit and a 51 percent jump in revenue, signalling accelerating project completions. Operating profit (EBITDA) was ₹287 crore against ₹297 crore a year ago. Directors have proposed a final dividend of ₹0.46 per equity share, pending approval at the annual general meeting. Once cleared, the payout will be disbursed within 30 days. On the bourses, NBCC shares gained 2.11 percent to close at ₹96.82, buoyed by the upbeat earnings and dividend announcement.
