Over 45 Million Candidates Appear for Railway Exams in 2024‑25

The Ministry reported that roughly 45 million candidates participated in various Computer Based Tests conducted for the 2024 and 2025 recruitment cycles. Exams were held in more than 150 cities and offered in 15 Indian languages, allowing candidates to appear in the language of their choice. This massive outreach reflects the government's push for an inclusive hiring process that reaches youth across the country.
