PLI-Auto Drives ₹52,414 Cr Incremental Sales and ₹2,386 Cr Incentives

Data released by the ministry indicates that the auto segment has witnessed an extra ₹52,414 crore in sales when fiscal 2020 is taken as the reference point. Furthermore, the government has disbursed ₹2,386.36 crore in incentive payments to companies that have complied with the scheme’s DVA criteria. Eighteen firms have already received DVA certificates covering 155 Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) products and their variants, signalling rapid progress in indigenous technology development.
