Signature Global Q1 Earnings Show Loss, Shares Slip Slightly
In its latest quarterly filing, Signature Global India Ltd posted a consolidated net loss of ₹16.5 crore for Q1 of FY2026‑27, a stark turnaround from the ₹34.4 crore profit recorded in the same period last year.
The top line shrank to ₹552 crore, down from ₹865.6 crore a year earlier, reflecting slower revenue recognition linked to project timelines. On the earnings front, EBITDA fell into the red at ₹44.7 crore, contrasted with an EBITDA profit of ₹33 crore in the previous year’s quarter.
The stock reacted modestly, ending the trading day at ₹811, a decline of ₹2.70 (0.33%). Over the past five trading days the share price has slipped another ₹3.25, roughly 0.40%. Yet, the broader picture shows a 2.82% rise over the past month, while the six‑month trend remains negative at a loss of 8.88%.
Chairman and full‑time director Pradeep Kumar Agarwal emphasized that the company’s underlying health is intact, citing a solid project pipeline and steady construction activity. He highlighted that better product mix, strong demand and high sales rates have supported pre‑sale metrics.
Agarwal also announced a collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini, aimed at delivering branded residential projects. Early customer feedback has been encouraging, and the alliance is expected to strengthen the firm’s foothold in the premium housing market.
