The Postal Department has rolled out a special Speed Post offering for Rakhi shipments, covering six major metros: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Under the 24‑hour Speed Post, parcels dispatched from any of the 35 approved booking points are delivered the next day, while the 48‑hour variant ensures delivery within two days. Both services carry a money‑back guarantee if the promised timeline is missed. The initiative, announced on August 5, 2026, is designed to keep Rakhi gifts moving swiftly during the peak festival period, providing shoppers with a reliable logistics solution.
