New state‑wide ID for architects, engineers and town planners announced

Previously, architects, engineers and town planners had to obtain separate registrations from each authority that covered their area of operation, leading to duplicated records, delays and logistical hassles for those working across multiple planning zones. The unified registration will assign a single, unique number to each professional, valid across the entire state. Existing registrants will be automatically migrated to the new system and will retain their current expiry dates, after which they must renew online through the portal.
