Veteran director Partho Ghosh passed away on Monday morning at the age of 75. His death was attributed to heart-related complications. Ghosh was celebrated for directing successful films such as ‘100 Days,’ ‘Teesra Kaun,’ and ‘Agni Sakshi,’ among others. He began his career as an assistant director and achieved his breakthrough in 1991 with the movie ‘100 Days.’ He went on to direct ‘Dalaal’ in 1993, which also became a major success. Ghosh wrote and directed more than 15 films throughout his career. His final directorial venture was ‘Mausam Ikrar Ke Do Pal Pyar Ke’ in 2018. He is survived by his wife, Gouri.
