Actor Recounts Childhood Ganesh Celebrations in Mumbai’s Multi‑Family Building

Jitendra reminisced about his early years, describing how his family lived in a four‑storey building that housed about a hundred households, most of them Marathi and Konkani. He was the sole Punjabi family among the residents. For more than five decades his household has celebrated Ganeshotsav, turning the modest flat into a hub of music, sweets and communal spirit. He recalled the simple joy of receiving boondi in his pocket and sharing it with friends.
