‘Haiwaan’ is being directed by Priyadarshan, the director of the original film. The team recently completed outdoor shoots in Ooty, and an actress involved in the film shared an enthusiastic update, praising Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.
The initial filming phase of ‘Haiwaan’ took place in Kochi, Vagamon, and Ooty. After wrapping up the shoot, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan returned. Vamsi Kaka shared pictures of the actors on X, stating that the outdoor shoot for ‘Haiwaan’ had concluded in beautiful locations, and the team had returned to Mumbai for the next schedule. Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar are also part of the film.
Saiyami Kher, who was present in Ooty during the schedule, shared her experience working with the lead actors. She mentioned that working with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan was a memorable experience and praised Priyadarshan for creating a positive environment. Kher’s performance has also impressed the makers. This year, she appeared in Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat,’ where she played a police officer.
Prior to ‘Haiwaan’, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have worked together in ‘Tashan’, ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’, ‘Yeh Dillagi’, ‘Tu Chor Main Sipahi’, and ‘Keemat’. The film is expected to release in 2026.
