At the exclusive screening of Sony Rajdani’s “Om Ka Hari,” actress Alia Bhatt recalled a vivid episode from her childhood that showcases her father Mahesh Bhatt’s knack for dramatics.

Alia narrated how, in first grade, a simple spelling test on the word “the” sparked a full‑blown performance by her father. He pretended to be a gigantic bear, using theatrical gestures and a booming voice to impress the lesson into her young mind.

“The dramatics were over the top, but they worked,” Alia remarked. “Even today, I can picture my dad in that bear costume, making sure I never forget the spelling.”
