The highly anticipated film ‘Ramayan,’ slated for a 2026 release, has completed its shooting with Ranbir Kapoor. The movie, with a budget of 4000 crores, is planned for a Diwali 2026 release, with the second part expected in 2027. Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, and Sai Pallavi will play Sita. Sunny Deol is set to appear as Hanuman, creating excitement among fans. A significant scene from the film has reportedly been completed, with Amitabh Bachchan involved. Nitesh Tiwari is directing ‘Ramayan,’ with Yash Films contributing to the production along with Namit Malhotra. Reports indicate that a scene featuring Jatayu, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, has been filmed, promising to be a major highlight. Bachchan’s character will be entirely created using VFX, with his eyes scanned to give a realistic touch. Though he won’t physically appear, Bachchan’s voice will be used. The scene is expected to be a visual spectacle. Additionally, anticipation surrounds Sunny Deol’s role as Hanuman; his participation and filming schedule are yet to be revealed.
