A fresh wave of anticipation is sweeping through Bollywood as 'Ishka' prepares to break new ground. The romantic drama will become the first Indian film to conduct its entire production cycle in Cyprus, from principal photography to final post-production. The official announcement was made during an elegant event at Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, attended by Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides and an array of industry names such as Javed Jaffrey, Ravi Kishan, Shreya Dhanwantry, Elnaz Norouzi, Gaurav Chopra, Aditi S Pohankar and Preeti Panigrahi. At the helm is Anjali Bhushan Mago, who started her journey nearly 31 years ago assisting on the blockbuster 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Now she is launching her own production house, Yantara Films, in partnership with music sensations Meet Brothers. The project will benefit from Cyprus's CIP A incentive program, offering a unique platform for international collaboration in Indian cinema. Anjali reveals that 'Ishka' will weave four distinct love stories into one cohesive narrative. Each tale will showcase different perspectives on love, from youthful passion to mature commitment, all connected through universal themes of longing and belonging. She stresses that in an era dominated by high-octane action, emotional depth remains cinema's most powerful tool. The director hopes audiences will find pieces of their own hearts reflected on screen. Harmit Singh of Meet Brothers adds that love between people holds greater importance than any genre spectacle. He believes that when emotions are portrayed authentically, they create films that linger in viewers' memories long after the credits roll.
