Now, director Anurag Kashyap has made a new revelation about this film. The director revealed that he initially wanted to make this film with Sushant Singh Rajput, but it did not happen. During a special conversation about the film, Anurag Kashyap said, ‘This was a film that I wanted to make with Sushant Singh Rajput at one point. But then he got big films like ‘Dil Bechara’ and ‘Drive’, which were being made under the banner of Dharma Productions. After this, my film was not a priority. I also stepped back, and Sushant also stopped responding. After this, I moved on. I had announced this film with him in 2016.’
The director-actor further said, ‘Many actors had read the script of the film ‘Nishaanchi’ and many artists had also liked it. Many artists were interested in this film, but nothing could be worked out with anyone regarding the film.
‘Nishaanchi’ is scheduled to be released on September 19, 2025. The story of the film is based on twin brothers who are completely different in nature. The film will show love, brotherhood, and revenge. The film will deal with different natures of humans and their influence. The film stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Kumud Mishra, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, and many other artists.
