The mortal remains of Zubeen Garg, the celebrated Assamese singer, arrived at Guwahati airport from Delhi. The body was subsequently transported to his residence. A large gathering of fans expressed their grief as the body was brought home. The singer passed away during a scuba diving session in Singapore. His remains will be available for public viewing at the Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex in Sarusajai, Guwahati, Assam. The Assam government has declared a three-day state mourning period as a tribute to the artist. During this time, official entertainment, ceremonial programs, and public celebrations will be suspended.
