India’s box office experienced a cinematic spectacle on Friday, October 31, 2025, with ‘Baahubali: The Epic’ making a commanding debut. The remastered action epic, a highly anticipated release, stormed ahead, capturing audience attention and a significant share of ticket sales. Meanwhile, ‘Roi Roi Binale’, marking a poignant final project for its lead, resonated with viewers, while the horror-comedy ‘Thamma’ continued its impressive run.
‘Baahubali: The Epic’, featuring Prabhas in a powerful role, opened with a remarkable Rs 9.25 crore on its first Friday. Including advance screenings on October 30 which garnered Rs 1.15 crore, the film’s total opening collection reached Rs 10.4 crore. The Telugu version saw a robust 63.63% occupancy, signaling strong audience enthusiasm for the grand cinematic experience.
‘Roi Roi Binale’, the Assamese musical film and the final project of Zubeen Garg, garnered Rs 1.53 crore on its release day. Directed by Rajesh Bhuyan, the film was met with positive viewer reactions, highlighting its emotional resonance.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Thamma’ continued its steady performance, adding Rs 2.85 crore on its second Friday. This brought its total earnings to an impressive Rs 111.25 crore. Despite mixed reviews, the film maintains a solid audience draw.
‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, the romantic drama starring Sonam Bajwa and Harshvardhan Rane, collected Rs 2.50 crore on its eleventh day, pushing its total to Rs 57.65 crore. The film, released earlier in October, is still attracting audiences.
Even after 30 days, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ showed resilience, earning Rs 1.75 crore on its fifth Friday, contributing to a total of Rs 603.45 crore. The film’s various language versions are now available on OTT platforms, with the Hindi version’s online release anticipated soon.
