The first captaincy task on Bigg Boss 19 proved to be quite entertaining. Fights erupted among the housemates as they vied for the captaincy. Kunika Sadanand and Zeeshan Kadri clashed, with Kunika becoming enraged by Zeeshan breaking her tiles. They both lost their tempers and began yelling at each other. Ashnoor Kaur and Tanya Mittal attempted to resolve their differences by addressing a minor dispute. Tanya initially ordered Ashnoor’s tiles to be broken, which angered Zeeshan. Ashnoor and Tanya agreed to move past their argument and start anew. When Abhishek Bajaj tried to break Kunika’s tiles, Tanya asked him to leave the game. Basir lay down, covering the tiles, and Abhishek tried to break them. The situation escalated, leading to accusations of physical contact.
Basir accused Abhishek of inappropriately touching him. Nehha supported Basir. Gaurav Khanna stated that Nehha could never support her own people. Basir and Abhishek continued to argue, with Abhishek claiming he never touched Basir. Zeeshan and Amal Malik mocked Tanya, Basir, and Abhishek. Farhana Bhatt watched the task and expressed her disappointment at Kunika becoming captain. Tanya declared Kunika as captain. Praneet questioned Tanya for not counting and announcing the decision. Abhishek was heartbroken when Kunika was announced as captain and began to cry. Tanya, Basir, and Neelum Giri advised Kunika on assigning tasks to the contestants. Later, while distributing duties, Kunika asked Gaurav to prepare breakfast or lunch, but he refused, claiming it was not in his contract. He argued with Kunika.
Farhana Bhatt’s return to the show surprised all the contestants. Farhana recounted how Basir had called her undeserving. Basir reiterated his opinion. Farhana rebuked Basir for telling her to stay away. However, she reminded him that she had stated she did not like him.
