Bobby Deol, currently basking in critical acclaim for his impactful role in ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood,’ has offered a touching glimpse into his family’s personal life. The actor revealed in a recent interview that his legendary father, Dharmendra, and his mother, Prakash Kaur, are residing together at their Khandala farmhouse. This clarification comes as Dharmendra’s emotional social media posts have often raised concerns among his well-wishers.
Addressing his father’s public displays of emotion, Bobby explained, “Papa is very emotional. He’s very expressive. He shares what he’s feeling with everyone… Sometimes he goes overboard, and then I ask him why he wrote what he wrote or said what he said, and he tells me that he was just following his heart.” Bobby assured that while the family is busy, they do connect with their father, noting that Dharmendra sometimes gets carried away with his heartfelt expressions on social media.
Dispelling any notions of his father being alone, Bobby stated, “My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic.” He elaborated that his parents cherish their time at the farmhouse, finding solace in its tranquil environment, pleasant weather, and quality food, describing it as a “paradise” created by Dharmendra.
Bobby also spoke about his mother’s preference for a private life. “You don’t hear about my mother much because people don’t usually ask us about her,” he shared. “My mother is a housewife, and I am her favourite. We speak every day.” He lauded her incredible strength, highlighting her journey from a simple village upbringing to adjusting to life as the wife of a superstar, attributing his father’s immense success to her unwavering support.
