Actor Bobby Deol, currently basking in critical acclaim for his role in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood’, has offered a heartwarming glimpse into his family’s personal life. In a recent interview, Bobby revealed that his legendary father, Dharmendra, and his first wife, Prakash Kaur, are living together at their Khandala farmhouse. This clarification comes amidst public concern over Dharmendra’s emotional social media posts, which often leave fans wondering about his well-being.
Bobby described his father as highly emotional and expressive. “Papa is very emotional. He’s very expressive. He shares what he’s feeling with everyone,” Bobby explained. He acknowledged that Dharmendra sometimes gets carried away with his public declarations and that Bobby occasionally questions him about his posts. Dharmendra’s response, Bobby shared, is usually that he’s simply following his heart. “Yes, of course, we meet him, but we’re busy sometimes, and he gets emotional. He doesn’t have any idea how many people could read his posts,” Bobby added.
Dispelling notions that his father might be lonely, Bobby stated, “My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic.” He emphasized their enjoyment of the farmhouse lifestyle, noting, “They love being at the farmhouse. They’re also old now, and being at the farmhouse is relaxing for them. The weather is nice, the food is nice. Papa has made a paradise out there.”
While Dharmendra and his sons, Sunny and Bobby, are familiar public figures, Prakash Kaur has maintained a private existence. Bobby elaborated on her low public profile, saying, “You don’t hear about my mother much because people don’t usually ask us about her.” He described her as a devoted housewife and his favorite person, with whom he speaks daily. Bobby lauded her immense strength, highlighting her journey from a simple village life to adjusting to the life of a superstar’s wife. He credited her unwavering support as instrumental to Dharmendra’s successful career, stating, “It is because of my mother’s support that my father became a big star.”
