Actor Boman Irani, celebrated for his roles in films like ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ and ‘3 Idiots,’ has openly discussed his childhood struggles with dyslexia. Reflecting on his experiences, Irani emphasizes how he overcame the challenges and highlights that this learning disorder does not define his identity. In a conversation, Irani underscored the uniqueness of each individual, pointing out the inherent differences in every person’s DNA. He encouraged people to utilize their strengths and focus on their areas of expertise. Irani, who struggled with mathematics in school, stresses that this did not limit him. He credits his ability to communicate, tell stories, and express himself through his body and voice as his defining qualities. He recalls having a strong memory for film scenes since childhood, despite his difficulties with numbers. Irani believes that individuals should never feel inferior due to their differences. He also discussed his role in ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla,’ where he played ‘Kishen Khurana.’ Initially, the filmmakers were apprehensive about casting him, a Parsi from South Bombay, as a Punjabi businessman. Irani took this as a challenge, working hard to embody the character. His upcoming film is ‘Detective Sherdil,’ available on Zee5, featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Diana Penty, and others.
